Job Summary:
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation of electrical and instrumentation systems in utility-scale photovoltaic plants. This role includes ensuring that systems such as inverters, cabling, and other electrical components are installed according to technical specifications, local regulations, and safety standards. Additionally, the Electrical Supervisor will optimize the performance of the electrical system, identifying and resolving faults.

Key Responsibilities:
· Electrical and Instrumentation Installation Supervision: Ensure that the installation of electrical and instrumentation systems, including inverters, cabling, and other components, is carried out according to plans, technical specifications, and quality standards.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all electrical installations comply with local regulations, electrical codes, and relevant safety standards.
· Performance Optimization: Monitor the performance of electrical systems, identify electrical faults, and implement corrective measures to improve efficiency and reliability.

Education and Certification Requirements:
· Academic Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related fields. Certifications in electrical systems for renewable energy are a plus.
· Professional Certification: Holding a Professional Engineer (PE) license is valued, or technical course / associate degree, as well as OSHA safety certifications.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising electrical installations, preferably in renewable energy projects or large-scale photovoltaic plants.
· Technical Knowledge: Extensive experience in the installation and operation of electrical and instrumentation systems, inverters, cabling, and other components related to solar energy plants. The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications is essential.
Spanish speaking would be a plus, but not required.---
Work Schedule:
· Full-time, with availability to address off-hours demands, particularly during critical project phases.
· Availability for frequent travel depending on project needs at different photovoltaic plant construction sites.
