WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: - Own the site ergonomics team and drive improvements in high MSD areas
- Perform and assist with ergonomic evaluation applying Humantech software
- Provide professional EHS expertise and leadership to deliver a robust and balanced Safety Culture
- Identify and assess risks throughout the facility and develop and implement sound control measures
- Act as a consultant to operations management, supervisors, HR partners and employees
- Handle incidents including the oversight of injuries, incident investigation, root cause/corrective action analysis, and action tracking
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure all workers have current EHS knowledge
- Lead job hazard analysis (JHA) program by collaborating with teams to assess risks, update procedures, write new procedures and ensure compliance.
- Find opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and data analytics to enhance EHS Performance
- Support EHS Lean Program to drive continuous improvement
- Support the Industrial Hygiene program to eliminate, control or reduce occupational hazard exposures as needed
- Reviews, updates and/or develops EHS policies and procedures
- Supports contractor safety program improvement efforts
- Hands on experience with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs and systems in a manufacturing environment, ensuring local, state and federal rules and regulations are met
- Organize and facilitate employee safety committees, meetings and documentation
YOU HAVE: - 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is accepted with a with a Master's Degree
- 5+ years of experience in Environmental, Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment with a BA degree
- Professional certification such ASP, CSP, CIH- Preferred
- Certified Ergonomist - Preferred (required to obtain within first year)
