The Opportunity As our IT Director, you will have a unique opportunity to shape and lead a company's technological backbone on the cutting edge of biotech innovation. What You'll Do Lead and Innovate : Design and implement an IT strategy that supports Ansa's aggressive growth and drives innovation across the organization. You'll work closely with R&D, commercial, and operational teams to ensure our systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with business goals. Build for the Future : Lead the integration and management of enterprise software, cloud platforms, and network solutions across our complex IT environment. You'll solve today's problems and anticipate tomorrow's challenges, ensuring we are always a step ahead. Safeguard Our Innovation : Oversee our data security and compliance efforts, managing customer audits and ensuring that we exceed industry standards for privacy, security, and risk management. You'll be our front line in protecting sensitive data and maintaining trust with customers and partners. Execute Large-Scale Projects : From system upgrades to cutting-edge infrastructure implementations, you'll drive IT projects that empower our teams to work smarter, faster, and more efficiently. Your ability to lead and deliver on these initiatives will directly impact our mission. Collaborate and Elevate : Partner with quality systems management to integrate IT solutions with our quality control processes, ensuring that our systems support regulatory requirements and high-performance standards. Drive Vendor Strategy : Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and partners, ensuring we have the best tools and services to support our ambitious goals. You'll negotiate contracts and make decisions that keep us at the forefront of technology. Grow and Develop Talent : Build and mentor a talented IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centric support. You'll ensure your team is equipped to handle the challenges of a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. What You Bring 10+ years of experience managing complex IT environments, with a proven track record of scaling infrastructure in high-growth, dynamic organizations. Expertise in developing and executing IT security policies, managing compliance frameworks, overseeing risk management, and handling customer audits. Deep understanding of hybrid IT environments (MacOS, Windows, Linux) and proficiency with cloud-based platforms like Google Workspace, AWS, and the Cisco/Meraki network stack. Experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite and its constellation of integrations, managing implementation, maintenance, and optimization of business workflows. Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence across departments and manage complex, cross-functional initiatives. Experience leading large-scale IT projects from concept to completion, including system integrations, data migrations, and infrastructure upgrades. A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is essential. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in business environments related to biological sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and/or contract research organizations. Familiarity with managing IT infrastructure in laboratory settings, supporting research, manufacturing, and commercial functions. Knowledge of compliance issues related to export-controlled technology and security in AWS domains. Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) and other tools that support high-functioning, technology-driven teams. Why Join Ansa?
