Greenwich Medical Spa (GMS) is a leading aesthetic dermatology practice that specializes in premium, non-surgical body contouring and facial aesthetic treatments. GMS is actively seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for our locations in Hartford County. This role is responsible for administering minimally invasive procedures within their scope of practice and in accordance with standardized policy and protocols. Clinicians will be responsible for hands-on patient care for any non-invasive aesthetic procedures that are within the scope of practice.

• Conducts treatment consultation to identify patient goals and determine/recommend services and products to achieve optimal results.
• Reviews patient medical history for possible contraindications.
• Ensures all client forms are completed, signed, and dated.
• Reviews treatment protocols, administer treatment and charts appropriately.
• Pre-dosing and preparation of injectables.
• Serves as the MedSpa facility’s medical representative in the community.
• Phlebotomy, when applicable, for treatment.
• Project based work inclusive of clinical educational materials, PowerPoint presentations, lectures/webinars, protocol review, and any other clinically focused projects as determined by the Clinical Director
• Training of new hires as a part of the clinical orientation program and continuing education programs as determined by the Clinical Director
• Obligation to customer service standards.
• OSHA coordinator, order and stock supplies, phone calls, clean up, contaminated waste disposal, photo filling, resource nurse, equipment maintenance, miscellaneous projects, research/study projects.
• Telephone triage, appointment instructions, teaching. Scheduling, Suture removal, dressing changes, wound evaluation, emergency protocols, CPR certified.
• Other duties as assigned.

In Office Treatments and Services are assigned individually  by the Clinical Director and may or may not include all the services listed below .

• Laser Hair Removal
• BOTOX 
• Dermal Fillers 
• Photo Rejuvenation 
• Skin Tightening 
• Fractional Laser Resurfacing
• Chemical Peels
• Acne 
• Body Contouring with Emsculpt and Coolsculpting

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner/physician assistant program with a minimum of two years clinical experience.
• Must have or be eligible for State Licensure, Certification or Registration, as applicable.
• Advanced Practice Provider national certification.
• CPR Certified.
• Laser Safety Officer Certified.
• Recommended to have minimum 1 year experience in aesthetic and/or medical dermatology.
