Summary

The Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for overseeing curriculum for each classroom. Duties include listing two ELG's per week on the lesson plans for each classroom, coordinating materials and supplies needed to conduct the lessons. The Curriculum Coordinator works with the Teachers to ensure that they are prepared to deliver the lessons and that the lesson plans meet the center guidelines. Another duty is keep staff on track with Professional Development through the CECPD and the Oklahoma Registry. Collaboration with the staff on trainings needed for the year. Keep parents informed about the curriculum and their child's progress. Documentation for assessments on children.

Duties

  • Listing two ELG's on weekly lesson plans
  • Facilitate curriculum gather supplies for teachers
  • Work with Teachers to carry out lesson plans and ensure they have appropriate materials.
  • Review Teacher notes and comments and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Teachers to prepare means of sharing curriculum with parents.
  • Identify educational opportunities to further develop skills of center staff.
  • Stay abreast of new developments in early learning curricula; introduce curricula improvements.
  • Follow all center policies and state regulations.

Requirements

  • Master teacher current PDL 4 or higher
  • Strong understanding of child development.
  • Training on Early Learning Guidelines
  • Ability to work well with others and to foster a team environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must clear full background check.
