Bespoke is seeking motivated individuals who have experience to lead, manage, and / or be an individual contributor. Hands-on experience with clean utilities, upstream and downstream biotech equipment, analytical or microbiological testing, and / or aseptic fill-finish manufacturing is highly desired. Summary / Objectives of this role:

Reporting to the Chief Pharmacist and Production / Pharmacy Technician supervisor, the Pharmaceutical Technician will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining pharmacy inventory, and providing excellent customer service. The role aims to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy, adhering to all regulatory standards.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a clean, well-lit pharmacy setting. The technician will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, often standing for extended periods and handling various pharmaceutical substances.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

- Assists Pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.

- Maintain accurate patient records and medication histories.

- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.

- Performs visual inspection of injectable products

- Ensures security of Protected Health Information as per HIPAA requirements

- Operates and maintain pharmacy equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance to junior staff or pharmacy interns.

Physical Demands:

- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

- Manual dexterity to handle medications and operate pharmacy equipment.

- Visual acuity to read prescriptions and labels.

Travel Requirements:

This position does not require travel. However, occasional travel may be necessary for training and professional development.

Required Education / Experience:

- High School diploma or equivalent.

- Completion of pharmacy technician training program.

Preferred Education / Experience:

- Associates degree in a related field.

- Previous experience in compounding or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.

- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures

- Proficiency in pharmacy software and technology.

- Knowledge of pharmaceutical technology and regulations.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

- Ability to use a computer for day-to-day work applications

- Valid driver’s license.

- Current unrestricted license with the Nevada Board of Pharmacy
