Kinsa is recruiting for a: Plant Manager / Meat Manufacturing Location: Puerto Rico (Onsite)
Our client is a meat manufacturer based on the Northern coast of Puerto Rico. The mission for the Plant Manager is to oversee all operations at this family-owned meat processing facility. You will have responsibility for promoting a culture of efficiency and safety, ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies, and training and providing all necessary support to both direct and indirect reports. - Successful candidates MUST HAVE 5 years of supervisory experience in a meat processing plant environment.
Compensation/Benefits: - $100,000 - $150,000 compensation range
- 20% bonus based on KPIs

Key Responsibilities and Goals: - Ensure compliance with USDA regulations, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Supervise, train, and manage plant and processing room staff, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Receives production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Evaluates employee's performance on a timely basis and recommends personnel actions, such as promotions, transfer, discharge, or disciplinary measures.
- Implement and manage continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant performance.
Competencies Needed for Success: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a meat processing plant management role.
- In-depth knowledge of USDA regulations and food safety standards.
- Proficient in using production and operational management software and tools.
- Quality compliance, HACCP, and SQF experience.
- Experience working in union environment a plus.
- Spanish and English- proficiency level.
